Is it wrong to con a conman? This story tells the beginning of Oz's reign in the fairy lands, focusing on his strike against the witchly women in power, and the witch of the East in particular. Be prepared for him to grate on your every nerve, but also await a rather satisfying end to his aspirations.I'm quite satisfied for this story to end where it does. It makes the rest of the Oz series seem like so much propaganda, but knowing how it actually ends for the witches makes this story a little painful.
