Ok. So. Wow. Let's forget that anyone paying attention knows who the stalker/murderer is before reading even a 1/4 of the book, how about grammar/editing?!! It was bad because there wasn't any! Ugh! I thought the book was OK, but it was kind of cheesy?! I really hate saying that but, I cringed through the whole book because of grammar and execution of plot. As I was reading, I kept asking myself, "who writes this stuff?!" It had so much potential, but the author only offered one suspect (because EVERYONE was being injured or killed off). The sex scenes were cheesy and embarrassing. I'm not a prude so I love a juicy love scene (didn't happen 😔) I can't believe I wasted my time finishing this. Sorry 😔Product details

THIS BOOK WAS AN OK READ,IT WAS FAST PACING THERE WASN'T A DULL MOMENT.THERE WAS SOME MISSPELLING OF SOME WORDS.THE AUTHOR MISTAKENLY PUT THE STALKER NAME INSTEAD OF AMBER'S LOVERS NAME TOWARDS THE END,OF THE PERSON THAT SAVED HER.YOU WILL FIGURE OUT WHO THE STALKER IS,AND HOW HE ALWAYS KNOW WHERE AMBER IS .I DID
I honestly wasn't expecting the book to be this amazing. After I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. And now I need to buy the next three books that are all a connected story.. I honestly think it would be awesome as a movie. I would love to keep reading all of Emma Grace's books. She has a way of writing that makes you really feel like you're part of the story. Loved it 😀
I enjoyed this story it was short, sweet and of course I am going to buy the rest of this series. New author for me and not a higher rating because it is more of a sweet novel instead of my harder core erotica I am used to. But I promise I am finishing this series she has quirked my interest and now has my money.
This author needs to go back to school and take a basic English grammar class. There was so much bad grammar in this book that I actually felt sorry for the author. Aside from the poor writing skills, the story plot was boring. Anyone could figure out who the stalker was by the time they had read the first few pages. Don't waste time on this one, read something interesting.
This is not the typical book that I read, but it was free and the synopsis looked good. I couldn't put it down. This book is great. Amber is being stalked, and has been for years. She keeps running every time the stalker finds her and kills someone that she has grown close to. She meets someone that can help her. Derek just wants to do his job, but as soon as he sees Amber, he wants to protect her. Major twist with who the stalker is. I hate posting spoilers, so that's all you'll get from me about who it is. I had my ideas, and I was right about who. Will be starting the next book tonight.
A good mystery. Told in pretty much third person. The etory itself was good with some interesting twists. I didn't appreciate the point of view. It eeemed like it wanted to be from Ambers mostly, like she was telling the story maybe in a journal or report, not as emotionally invested as I would have liked to see. I believe the story could have been a block buster if told in a more personal way.
The story is definitely worth the time to read & I do recommend it. Hopefully the future stories have the author taking us into the characters more.

Orphaned her first year at college, Amber only had one link to her past. People died when she got close them. Derek just wants to do his job, but as soon as he sees Amber, he wants to protect her. Major twist with who the stalker is. I liked the relationship between Derek and Amber. This book had a few errors in it nothing big. This was my first time reading this author and I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series although I am hoping that it gets darker the sex scenes were good.
